WHAT'S HER NAME?

These days i try not to be as straight as my friends define me to be. Then that doesn't stop me from me from being real about things that make you feel am sarcastic.... Whatever your judgment of me, i sure don't care just wanted to have an understanding of the idea behind the dating games, Facebook relationships n social "love" networking. This afternoon i passed by Genesis and i read about creation and how God brought all the beasts, fowl and living "creature" in chapter 2 to Adam to "name" but in all there wasn't found a helper meeting Adams personality, mission, functionality, vision, purpose, and future.

Only a piece of him could be used to make a portion of her and only in meeting Eve did ADAM become complete. "That" hit

A SIGH OF RELIEF

It's a week gone and pheew a sigh of relief i breath not because ive got it all worked out but because there's progress report. Hmm i can feel the rush, the speed, the race .... All headed to the hall of "fame" where your progress report will be analytically criticised and your speed determined by some functions subconsciously who we all signed a deed of employ to.. Indeed "the men in the ball room"still at a loss?? On our jobs, in our marriages, within the walls of relationship, the brotherhood,...we are always never perfect yet a competition defined.

The head must indeed feel better than the heart.. Who made you the head and why do you think the heart when lost leaves your position enviable??? Don't apologise

FAULTY FOUNDATION

A post-mortem of concerns: a brief examination of some areas of concern in the life of the nation may be useful at this point but, for the sake of brevity, certain facts and data about the country must be taken for granted: its setting, features, people and endowments will recieve attention only as they are relevant to contentious issues and a source of concern. The political development of the past half century, although obviously important, cannot recieve more than the briefest mention but the change in society responses to developments in education, infrastructure, health, the state of the economy and governance will be relied upon to give focus to the deteriorating social conditions.

We shall consider, as a post-mortem, those seven

PARADIGM SHIFT

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."Steve Jobs

When i hear people rave and rant about poor governance in Nigeria, it simply brings few questions to mind; 1. Do we have a good government yet bad citizens or

RESTORE DEMOCRACY

What is required is to restore democracy in Nigeria by returning to open and democratic elections in which the citizens count the votes openly in each polling station. Sorry to disappoint you, but there are no quick fixes for problems as huge and as complex as the ones facing us today. What has grown over a period of 24+ years, and has been especially exacerbated during the past 9 years, cannot be solved in just a few years. You can't get rid of weeds simply by cutting off their leaves or branches, or even their stalks. You have to attack them at their roots. And that is what we have to do here. We cannot afford to accept just piecemeal solutions.

We need to get to the root of the problems, starting with, We need a National Assembly that is once again responsive to the will and needs of the

DAD & MUM

There was someone that watched Bobby Brown wed the church girl Whitney Houston, someone saw Michael Jackson start crack, someone saw to the lesbian and gay marriages, someone saw that girl dress nude and step outside, someone noticed that boy drag cigars, someone saw the baby have temper trumps and hit things hard on the floor. Someone watched that girl refuse to sit when asked to, it started with a little red wine on the table to “help food digest” to the boy hitting his sister without reprimand, to the mother watching X-rated movies while watching the child do homework. It always starts at home. The father/mother is either never there or too busy to notice the child grow from a toddler to the adult. The child is left alone to the world and its vices then handed over to the church for rehabilitation.

Agreed, the bible said let the little children come to me

DEAR NIGERIA,

The recent continuous killings of Boko Haram have left a lot to be desired in the strength of the governance we have so staked our lives on long queues for. We realize that outside the tags, badges and pistons the police force carry, we are left alone to fight our battles and face the cold bloodedness of deaths. We are not left with an option as to how we will die, uncertainty has become the air that swiftly waves through this country; the Giant of Africa. The injustice of our fellow citizens, the insincerity of our leaders past and present, the fear, despair, anguish and pain of generations unborn and heroes each day lying in masses in graves carved by incidence not coincidence.
We have realized that outside the long speeches, the party manifestos, the campaign treaties, the loyalty pledges are selfish, self centered and unjustifiable quests for huge loads of power

VALUE OF A NIGERIANS LIFE

The Nigerians life is overly undervalued… roads are built without accommodating pedestrians, vehicles not road worthy are the most functional for commercialization, electricity cables are seen as skipping ropes on main roads after the rain, fake drugs are distributed with total abandon in kiosks with chemist signposts, carbon monoxide perfumes the atmosphere we inhale from, quality education is a privilege for a certain class, security is defined as protection for the wealthy. The insecurity generated by recklessness and violence in Nigeria is a very serious problem in which the observance and enjoyment of human rights are at stake.
Dana Air have already suffered at the hands of all too predictable air disasters while the fleets of other Nigerian air transports are also lamentable. It is common knowledge that DANA

NIGERIA IN 2015

Dear Nigerians, After three years of challenging governance, higher taxes, depression, and more spending, Nigeria desperately needs return to corporate governance: limited government, lower taxes and balanced budgets. There is the need to fix not only our nation’s economic deficit, but also our deficit of trust and unity. Nigerian and indeed Nigerians are now more divided than ever, and for our nation to move forward together with new leadership and unite, the leadership must first unite, then the followers; who indeed are members of the geopolitical zones which make up our country Nigeria.

Today i campaign to build a better and brighter Nigeria, one void of political self

POWER & SERVICE

As Jesus was talking to His disciples, a certain lawyer stood up and asked, "Who is my neighbour?" And Jesus answered by telling them this story: A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who robbed him, stripped him of his clothes, and, wounding him, left him on the road half dead. By chance there came a priest that way, and, as a teacher of religion to men, he should have stopped to help the poor man. Instead of this, he pretended not to see, and passed by on the other side of the road.

Then there came by a Levite, who also, as an official of the church, should have given help. But he merely came and looked on the injured man, and passed on the other side as the priest had done. Afterwards there came by a Samaritan, and, when he caught sight of the wounded Jew, he went over to him and was very sorry for him. Now the Jews hated the Samaritans, and were their enemies, so that it would not have been surprising if he, also, had done as the priest and the Levite did. But, no! Though it was his enemy, he could not pass him by and leave him on the road, perhaps to die. He examined his wounds and bound them up; doing all that he could to soothe them.

WHERE IS EVERYONE?

Sitting there all by herself, alone in a world so choked with people. Left to the cold, the dust and the moon, she can only ask herself "where is everyone?"

Not the aroma, nor the meal. Not the bed,nor the room. Not the room, nor the home. So many passers by, not one acquaintance. Alot of brothers, yet no friends. She heaves a sigh of relief or pain? Indifferently asks "where is everyone?"

The souls she played with @ dusk, the spirits that picked the crusts, the shadows,

TRAINING SCHOOL

Life has a way of teaching us lessons we naturally would not desire to learn and under circumstances we sometimes would not naturally choose. We learn daily from the people we meet, the things we see, the books we read and the events that we interact with. At the end of each day, we can gainfully or hauntingly say we have achieved or lost out of the classes life has given us an opportunity to have or that we remain the same way we started.

The idea of learning is highly employed and embraced strongly in the twenty first century. It goes beyond the boardroom kind of setting, to an organized citadel of discipline. The ability 2 be trained and tutored by experts provides another platform to explore ones intelligence and varsity of knowledge.

HOW ARE YOU?

Hi, How are you? Yes, I mean you. You are reading this post and I am concerned about you. It’s not the cliché; I really need to know how you are doing. Yes, someone said the same question in passing this morning when you walked into the office, stepped into your living room, dropped by the mall, passed that old friend at the traffic light. Someone has asked “how are you?” today and then you yearned so much to say “the truth” but they were gone as fast as the words came. So, it was simply a salutation then not a question because I know like you know that if it were a question, they would have waited for an answer.

I have been there, when I longed it would not just be a salutation that it would end with a question mark and not a full stop. I have wished that the bus man meant it that day I didn’t have money to pay my way back home; then I could have told him the truth. I wish my loved one had meant it; I would have cried out the hurt and pain that was swelling inside.

SPEAK NOT SPANK

ImageIt is only in a classroom that we must raise hands for our comments to be admitted. . . There is an adage in my language that says “Tep! Tep! Ajogho abang” simply put (little drops of water make a mighty ocean). Things do not just reach a climax, they build up from a start and transcend to a point they hit the climax and we either stand at ovation to applaud or we are crushed under the weight of the consequence of our decisions…good or bad.

Whatever the conditions, I suppose that any right minded person should choose to find himself at the spotlight and not under the debris of issues. I am simply applying the analysis to a person that would choose to live with domestic violence rather than speak out and get help. Truth is, most of the people that tell you they do not know how it happened that they have finally turned to a punching bag and their homes a wrestle ring had actually started by doing comic presentations of child fights which turned into soap operas of complete bullying episodes where the more powerful took the glory. We make tours for party candidates, we have rallies for political conventions, we have fund raisers for education trust funds but we do not have people standing up against the violence that exists in our homes which is threatening our communities, the psyche of our youths, the upbringing of our kids and the environment we live in.
